What is a Mother

A mother is a quiet light,

A steady hand through day and night,

A voice that comforts, soft and true,

A heart that gives its all to you.

She’s strength wrapped up in gentle care,

A love that’s constant, always there.

A guiding star in skies above—

A mother is another word for love.

Today is one of the days we say thanks Mam, for all you ever did for us. As we were growing up we didn’t appreciate exactdly what they did and gave us, it’s only in later life, when sadly, they have gone, that we start realising how much they meant to us. So today let’s remember them with love and gratitude, cos they were, our best friend.

So today, let’s raise a glass to good old Mum and celebrate with music, gifs, pics and stories of our Mum’s if you wish.

Cats Are King…And Queen

Those of us who have been privileged enough to be owned by cats know our place in life!
Those wonderful opposable thumbs are just made for opening cans and tearing sachets. Those agile fingers are so perfect for scratches and pets, and for biting once the pet limit has been exceeded!

Cats were worshipped as gods in ancient Egypt, and they have never forgotten that!

So today, let’s share all things feline, both big and small, wild and domesticated…
