When Day = Night

Goodness gracious, this year is flying!

And now we have reached the time when night equals day—the autumn equinox for us up here, and the spring one for our friends down under!

It’s the traditional start of autumn, and it’s certainly feeling that way now, although yesterday was a beautiful late summer day!
But it’s one of my favourite times of year, especially after such a hot and dry summer!

The leaves started falling early this year, due to the drought, and I don’t think we will have much colour, but it’s nice to have cooler nights for sleeping.
The swallows have not long left to head back to Africa, and the bird song is changing, too.

So, as day equals night and we flip into a new season, let’s share all things related to this turning of the year!
