🦊🦊🦊An Evening With Basil Brush…Boom Boom🦊🦊🦊

Thanks to MC for the idea for the thread, much appreciated.

What is there to say about this remarkable fox?
He’s funny and is still very popular after all these years.
He was invented by Peter Firmin in 1962 and became famous as a glove puppet mischievous fox who appeared on children’s television.
He was voiced by Ivan Owen til 2000, when he sadly died. Basil was known for his posh accent and the famous catch phrase “Boom Boom” which really caught on with the public, and is still used today.

Basil is still touring with the owner who took him over when Ivan died. He does TV appearances, pantomine, game shows and live theatre. People still love to see him.

So today let’s go back in time and enjoy all things Basil Brush-related and have some fun.
