It’s Solstice Time

Good grief, we are rocketing towards the end of June and hurtling towards July already!
Time sure does fly. I’m not sure if that’s because of our fast-paced modern world or just the old toilet roll analogy in action.

Anyway, here we are at our longest day—shortest for our lovely friend down under—and halfway to Christmas! YIKES!!!

Traditional summer starts up here, and winter down there.

And it’s plenty hot enough considering we have only just started summer. The temperatures for next week here just keep nudging up, almost to near record temperatures for the time of year, 🥵 but thank goodness for fans and mobile aircon!
Maybe it’s time for a little trip down under! 😃
