From time to time, I shall do some threads that are called “An Evening With…” and my choice for the first one is probably one of the best soul singers ever, Otis Redding.

Otis Redding was an American singer/songwriter and is regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of American music.

This was his first big hit and one of my favourites.

He did enjoy his singing

He did many, many fantastic songs, including Dock of the Bay, I’ve Been Loving You Too Long, and Try a Little Tenderness, to name a few.
