Think of a country of beautiful scenery, sand-filled beaches, historic castles, and an interesting heritage, along with male voice choirs, and its own language. A place with 3 National Parks: Eryri (Snowdonia), Pembrokeshire Coast, and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). Plus 5 places of National Landscapes, including Gower Coast, traditional dress, and some unusual cooking, and you are in Wales.
I won’t mention the Rugby Team now, although once they were unbeatable.

It is known as the Land of Song, as most Welsh people can sing (apart from me).

Today is St David’s Day, their Patron Saint, and celebrations will be carried out all over the country with people in National Costume, and some wearing leeks and a daffodil, and waving a flag with a red Dragon on it.
