Can somebody please tell me where this year has gone?  It is now the 1st May, and well into Spring.

Spring this year has been lovely so far, apart from the Easter bit, and not a lot of rain, so let's look forward to a nice summer for a change. 

The evenings are lighter now, the weather is getting warmer, and the garden is beginning to look good. Flowers are blooming, and others are getting ready to bloom. All is looking good.
The downside is that the garden needs a lot of water, either with rain, at night, or with hoses and sprinklers. It is a busy time, as well as some of the veg is beginning to get ready to harvest, and time for a nice potato salad with home-grown new potatoes. Yummy!

So, let's enjoy this time of year, and post all things May-related , music, pics, or even spring recipes that are light and summery, or any pics of anything that is looking good in your garden. Don’t forget to take time to look at your garden and enjoy it. Sit in it and have a cup of tea or even tea on the patio on a nice evening.
