Happy Easter, I hope your Easter weekend has been fun so far, and plenty of Hot Cross Buns on Friday!!

The Easter weekend really is a weekend of fun, with lots of activities, fetes, etc. and some nice food, the hot cross buns traditionally on Good Friday, and Easter Eggs on the Sunday, with usually a nice Easter meal. Traditionally, it is lamb.
For those who are religious, it is a Holy Weekend and church attendance.

Some people spend time on the weekend painting eggs as decorations, or if you’re rich, you could buy a Faberge Egg!!

The other tradition for Easter Sunday is the Easter Egg hunt. It is basically for kids, to see how many eggs they can find, but I think it would be great fun for adults as well, as long as you can run faster than Kieran or Taff!! I prefer not to have to hunt for mine, and I am fortunate enough to always get a couple of nice Easter Eggs.

So, how do you spend your Easter Weekend? Is it a relaxing one, or do you go away for the weekend, or just treat it as a normal weekend? I still get a kick out of opening an Easter Egg on Easter Sunday!!
