Well, the big day has finally arrived, weeks of panic, worry and preparations, and spending, and now we can enjoy our hard work. We have earned it, so make sure we all enjoy it.
While we are celebrating in our own way, and eating far too much lovely food, letβs remember the meaning of Christmas and what it should mean.
Christmas is not the glitter or gold,
Not just the stories weβve always been told.
It lives in the kindness we choose to give,
In caring and sharing, the way that we live.
It shines in the laughter of family near,
In friends who remind us of joy and cheer.
Itβs found in the moments both humble and sweet,
In love that makes every gathering complete.
The gifts are not wrapped in ribbons alone,
But in hearts that remind us weβre never alone.
For Christmas is love, in its purest light,
A beacon of warmth through the winter night.
So treasure the people who walk by your side,
For they are the meaning where true joys reside.
Christmas is caring, itβs sharing, itβs this:
The gift of togetherness, the seasonβs bliss.
I hope we all have a lovely Christmas Day, and please come and join us this evening for a short time, and some nibbles, if any of you have any room.
Happy Christmas Friends.
And to finish, a silly little poem.:
It Was Christmas Day at the Corner Cafe,
The place was neat and tidy
We all shouted hot cross buns
It must have been Good Friday
Kieran and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you have a really great day.
