🐎 Happy Lunisolar New Year - It’s The Year Of The Horse 🐴

The Lunisolar New Year, also called Chinese New Year, The Spring Festival and The Lunar New Year, is a wonderful celebration of light and renewal and the honouring of ancestors, with feasting, fireworks, and lion dances!
And this year, the animal associated with it is one of my favourite animals, the horse. The fire horse, to be exact.

Horses have done so much for us humans over the millennia: first, they were food, then used for transport, in war, sport, and recreation.
Humans wouldn’t have gotten where they are today without the horse to carry them so far.

So today, in addition to celebrating the Lunisolar New Year, let’s also celebrate the majesty and beauty of horses in whatever way you wish, with images, music and GIFs.
