πŸŒœπŸŒ•πŸŒ™Fly Me To The MoonπŸŒœπŸŒ•πŸŒ™

The moon is approximately 238,555 miles away from us, yet we look up and, if it’s not cloudy, we can see it as clear as a bell.

It is a beautiful planet, with its different phases and colours throughout the year. There is nothing like looking up at the sky and seeing a beautifully bright coloured moon.
If you look carefully, you can see the face of the man in the moon!! Man has visited it, unfortunately, and already left their mark on it, but to the naked eye, it remains unspoilt.

There are 12 full moons in a year, one for each month, but the moon’s phases complete in about 29 days, so every 2 or 3 years, another full moon appears, which is sometimes called "the blue moon”. The full moons are a beautiful sight.

There is a fair bit of superstition about the moon and the way it affects people's behaviour, etc., but there is no scientific proof of this at all.  Neither if you make a wish on the night of the full moon and put it under your pillow will it come true.

This was the last full moon here a few weeks ago; it was also an eclipse.

So, today, let's talk about the moon and its phases, etc. and post all things moon-related - music, gifs, pics or even your own photos you have taken.
