Along with some other sites, The Chat Shack is currently beta-testing some changes Disqus has made to the comment box text editor before the changes are rolled out across the whole platform.
These include:

  • Improved, WYSIWYG rich text editor experience that lets you apply a style and preview what the comment will look like before it’s published

  • Hotkey support (the ability to apply changes via keyboard shortcut, e.g., ctrl+B for bold styling, etc.)

  • Markdown support

  • Smoother image upload + hyperlink experiences

  • Improved username @mention experience

Disqus would like your feedback on the changes, good and bad, please.
If you have any criticisms, please try to make them constructive, if possible, by saying exactly what is not good to you and why.
If you have any problems with anything, please let me know, and I will help as soon as I can.
